🚨 ONE HEIGHT AND ONE TYPE SIZE FOR EVERY CONTROL IN THE APP. A button, a pill, a chip, a menu, a text box — anything you tap or type into is exactly 30 tall, and adding a second height is the bug the token exists to prevent. There used to be a second, fieldHeight = 36, and it was introduced for a real symptom with the wrong cause: InputDecorator painted its fill at ~23pt inside a 30pt widget, so the box the eye saw was never the box the layout had. Fixing the drawing killed the reason for the second number. Only two values moved off DDS here — screen padding 16→20 and card padding 18→17 — and redefining them updated 699 call sites without editing one. §4.
